Sustainability in Practice:

Six Successful Generations

We manufacture toe boards and wooden boards for all system scaffolding on the market. And we have been doing so for six generations. Our ancestor, Georg Schollmayer, founded the company in 1853. Since then, wood has been at the core of our lives!

With almost 40 employees, we generate annual sales of around 15 million euros. On our production area of 5,000 square meters in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, we process approximately 30,000 cubic meters of wood.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As a wood-processing company, this is a matter of course for us!

Sustainable Production

We are firmly convinced of the genius of the raw material wood. A resource that grows back and simultaneously binds climate-damaging CO2 – it doesn’t get better than that. By using wood in scaffolding, we want to contribute to advancing a climate-neutral construction industry. In this context, we are working on an integrated material cycle – from sustainable sourcing to the reprocessing of wood. Our goal is to see each board in use for decades.
