Safety First
Safety should always be the highest priority on construction sites. Our scaffold boards contribute to this goal. Available in all standard lengths, they form an essential part of the three-piece side protection system of a scaffold.
This side protection prevents tools or objects from falling off the scaffold deck. The scaffold boards are hung into the board sockets of the frame. Toe Boards must be used whenever work is carried out on a scaffold level to ensure the safety of the workers.
High-Quality Manufacturing
Our toe boards are made from domestic and Nordic spruce wood. Similar to our scaffold boards, we select wood for the toe boards with a fine, tight growth ring structure. The material should be free of defects. The spruce wood is technically dried, free from pests, and has a moisture content of 12-18% after processing.
After precise cutting to the desired length, the toe boards receive high-quality steel fittings. These fittings are completely hot-dip galvanized and resistant to weather and rust. The fittings are attached to the wooden toe board using galvanized hollow or tubular rivets.
Standard Version
In the standard version, our
toe boards
are industrially coated with a water-dilutable stain concentrate. The coating process is tailored to meet the required needs and specifications, and applied using various methods. Unless otherwise requested, we supply our
toe boards
in the traditional Schollmayer Red.
In the standard version, it is also possible to round the corners of the toe boards. This improves handling and reduces the risk of damage along the length of the board.
Custom Variations
We are happy to accommodate custom requests and tailor
toe boards
to your specific requirements. We can stain or fully coat them in any RAL color using a water-based pure acrylic wood coating.
The optimized opacity and thicker coating significantly improve the durability of the toe boards in outdoor conditions. As an additional option, the coating can be mixed with a water-repellent substance, creating a "lotus effect" on the surface.
Logos, advertising slogans, and other corporate design elements, as well as technical markings and QR codes, can be applied to the surface using various printing methods, either on one or both sides.
Sustainable Production
For our production, we exclusively use FSC-certified wood from sustainable forestry. By choosing this renewable raw material, we help protect the environment. A cubic meter of wood stores approximately one ton of CO₂, further contributing to environmental sustainability.
